Promotional

Hello there! Hope everyone is having a great Superbowl Sunday, though I only watch for the commercials, lol. One of the projects we worked on in my Design Principles class, was to create a postcard of pamphlet for an event. I decided to make up a promotional concert for Anggun, since she was coming out with a new album soon, (and the new CD is pretty good!). Anggun is one of my favorites, her CD Snow on the Sahara was one of the first CD's I ever bought for myself. The key element in making any kind of postcard or brochure is to have really high quality images. So no matter how much you shrink or enlarge the image, it will look clear and crisp. The dark background is the front, and the lighter is the back. I wanted to keep it consistent by having the same background textures, and the change from dark to light helps divide, and at the same time unify. I love doing projects like this, in fact today I designed some t-shirts for a certain someone's mayorial campaign...
Alright I am off to watch the game whoo hoooo!
